Overview

Corrosive Storage Cabinet is a dedicated anti-corrosion chemical storage unit designed for concentrated strong acids, strong alkalis and highly corrosive inorganic reagents. The blue color standard identification complies with international hazard color marking standards, effectively isolating corrosive vapor leakage, preventing cabinet corrosion and chemical splash hazards to operators.

Two mainstream plastic structures and one fireproof steel structure are available: full PP integrated seamless welding cabinet for general corrosive reagents, HDPE rotational molding cabinet dedicated to hydrofluoric acid & low-temperature environments, and coated steel anti-corrosion cabinet for weak corrosive & fire-proof co-storage scenarios. Fully compliant with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1450, EPA 40 CFR 264.175 and EN14470-1 safety standards. Equipped with full plastic anti-spill internal accessories, sealed ventilation ports, dual-key safety lock and integrated leak containment sump; optional exhaust gas filtration, intelligent access control and mobile base configurations.

Suitable for university chemistry labs, electroplating PCB workshops, environmental testing labs, pharmaceutical inorganic synthesis workshops, semiconductor wet process cleanrooms and wastewater treatment stations. Compact under-counter models and large vertical double-door storage versions are available to match small bench stations and bulk chemical warehouse storage demands respectively.

HDPE High Density Polyethylene Cabinet

Core advantages: Excellent low-temperature toughness, ultra-high impact resistance, superior resistance to hydrofluoric acid (HF), seamless rotational molding integral forming without welding seams, anti-leakage performance outstanding. Core weakness: Long-term service temperature ≤60–70℃, easy thermal deformation under high temperature; poor tolerance to strong oxidizing acid and organic hydrocarbon solvents.

Double-Layer Anti-Corrosion Coated Steel Cabinet

FAQ

Q: Why is the corrosive cabinet standard blue?

A:

Blue is the international unified hazard identification color for corrosive acids & alkalis, highly visual warning to remind operators of strong corrosion risks, complying with OSHA & EPA color marking specifications.

Q: What is the core difference between PP cabinet and HDPE PE cabinet?

A:

PP: General-purpose material, withstand most inorganic acids & alkalis, long-term working temp up to 90℃, mainstream standard cabinet material for most corrosive labs; HDPE PE: Excellent low-temperature toughness & impact resistance, unique superior tolerance to hydrofluoric acid HF; only suitable for environment below 70℃, cannot be used under high temperature or strong oxidizing reagents. Note: CE is only EU safety certification mark, not a cabinet material.

Q: Can strong acid and strong alkali be stored inside one cabinet together?

A:

Strictly prohibited. Acid and alkali will trigger violent neutralization reaction once leaked, generate high temperature and harmful fumes; must be stored in separate independent cabinets.

Q: Does the cabinet need to connect exhaust ventilation pipe?

A:

Recommended for labs with frequent reagent opening; static sealed storage without frequent access can omit ventilation, but acid mist filter ventilation is required for high-concentration volatile corrosive reagents.

Q: Is the coated steel cabinet able to store concentrated strong acid?

A:

Not allowed. Steel cabinet only fits weak corrosive reagents; concentrated strong acid must be stored in full PP or HDPE plastic cabinet to avoid cabinet corrosion and leakage risk.

Q: Does this product support overseas export certification?

A:

All models meet OSHA, EPA, EN14470-1 international standards, can provide CE, factory inspection certification documents for customs clearance of European, American and Southeast Asian projects.
